It is lack of rest and over stress. It is generally observed aspirants quit food and sleep right before a few months of the exam due to tension. The trick is to relax and revise important topics. Too much of stress will only ruin your health in particular and life in general. Hence, stay calm.
We bring to you 10 ways to kick off JEE 2016 exam stress and score well in the examination.

Be positive throughout the process

Candidates should always stay positive. Remember, taking tension won’t help you in clearing the exam. Instead it might affect your health. If you let negative thoughts capture your mind, you will find it difficult to succeed. Always take note that you are your biggest motivation.

Create a to-do list

Set up a routine and follow it religiously. Doctors usually recommend students should get enough sleep at night before the exam. Experts say aspirants should adjust their biological clock according to the exam time to stay alert while appearing for the test. They say candidates should create a small to-do list or time table, noting what need to be done and at what time.

Look for a variety in studying spots

Sometimes students get bored sitting and revising at the same place. In such situation, a change in place of study/revision/practice helps. Try out different areas in your house that make you feel comfortable and productive. For instance, most students find sitting on the floor and revising comfortable. They feel sleepy when studying on the bed or sofa. The sleepy you are, the harder it is to focus on your books.

Eat healthy and sleep comfortably

One of the most common comprises that students tend to make during the exam period is sleep. You need about 8 hours of sleep regularly before the exam. A well-rested mind and body will grasp information more easily. Similarly, a fit and healthy body will make you feel energetic. Hence, candidates should eat fresh, green vegetables and drink lots of water.

Focus on quality not quantity

Everybody has that one friend who narrates his/her story of studying for 15 hours. Don’t get carried away by such stories; it gets stale soon. It is the quality not quantity that matters. If you finish the same number of chapters in relatively lesser time, you are the winner.

Take mock tests before appearing for JEE

Each one of us have one or more favorite topics, similarly we have topics that we don’t like hence avoid studying/revising it. In reality you should really focus on stuff you aren’t so familiar with. Mock tests are the best way to revise a particular topic. It not only tests your current knowledge but will help you identify areas that need more focus and attention.

Revision is mandatory

It is very important to revise what you have studied. But do not overdo it. Go slow and don’t keep revising the same thing again and again. Take break and try to practice problems that are important for the exam.

Take breaks

Break time is necessary to lighten and brighten your mind. Go in open air and relax your mind after long hours of JEE 2015 preparation. You can also meet up friends and go for walk, but don’t discuss about exam or stress.

Do exercise regularly

Exercises or meditation is recommended to increase concentration level while studying. Candidates are advised to include at least 1 hour of workout in their daily routine to stabilize the mind and body.

Keep hope

Lastly, don’t lose hope. Don’t be afraid of feeling confident (mind this, just confident not over-confident). Always think you are well-prepared and will give your best shot.
